Captain Will Frazer is a 4th generation Nevadan, born and raised in Reno. Will has been fishing since he was 4 years old and caught his first Rainbow Trout on a Scooby Doo rod and reel. While Will grew up fishing in Lake Tahoe and Pyramid Lake, he has also fished around the world from Mexico to Mauritius. This will be Will’s 4th year fishing in Alaskan Waters. When Will is not fishing in Alaska you can find him traveling the world, attending sporting events, golfing, and spending most of the fall in the marsh duck hunting with his Labrador, Norma Jean.
Captain Bob Tardy grew up in Colorado, dreaming about one day being an Alaskan fishing guide. Beginning in 2005, he traded engineering consulting for fishing privileges on Admiralty Island and got his captain’s license in 2011. He has been guiding for eight years, four of them being at Salmon Falls. During the off-season he lives in Colorado, where he loves to sail, fish, and bow hunt. Some of his favorite memories at Salmon Falls include the time an inexperienced guest hooked a very large Lingcod and another guest and himself had the opportunity to coach the struggling angler until they landed the fish.
Captain Craig Ring retired from Active Duty service in the United States Coast Guard in 2000 as a Chief and has been living in Ketchikan, Alaska since 1997. He commercial trolled from 4th grade to high school then began his Active Duty service in 1980. Captain Craig currently sits on two Salmon boards, Southern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association (SSRAA), and the Alaska Trollers Association. By serving on the boards he hopes to make sure there are fish for generations. Captain Craig has been fishing for Salmon Falls Resort since 2002.
Captain Gary Souza is a resident of Ketchikan since 1985 and a life-long salmon, steelhead, and trout addict. He has worked for many seasons as a charter boat captain as well as a fly-fishing guide. His guiding experience ranges over a large area of locations in Southern Southeast Alaska and well as more than 20 years on Prince of Wales Island. He has recreationally fished extensively in many locations nationally and abroad and has conducted seminars and clinics on salmon fishing as well as on fly casting. He is a contributor to the award-winning book, Alaska Fishing-The Ultimate Anglers Guide.
Captain Michael Bunker has been an avid fisherman since early childhood and has fished everywhere from the Puget Sound to Long Island and the lakes and rivers of Idaho. Most recently he has been a guide in Southeast Alaska. His motto is, “If it swims, I can catch it.” Captain Mike considers it a great day on the water when you’re creating memories, catching fish and going after monster King Salmon. He’s a Dad to three boys and resides in Idaho in the off-season.
