Escape to Ketchikan, Alaska, for the adventure of a lifetime. Our Adventure Specialist will help you design the trip of your dreams.

Salmon Falls is your basecamp for adventure.  Your overnight package includes all your meals—all you have to do is decide the type of room to begin each new day.  From there, we’ll help you pick your activities to fill your schedule for your trip to Ketchikan.

FULL DAY ADVENTURES

Fully Guided Fishing

With the fully-guided fishing package, one of our captains will assist you on your fishing trip in one of our Riddle Marine 27.5 ft. boats, equipped with a heated cabin, standing/private heads, surround sound music, shock-absorbent seats, dual 200 Honda outboards, and an arsenal of top-of-the-line fishing gear. Our guides will assist you in finding the best location, baiting hooks, reeling in your catch, and anything else you may need while aboard. Skilled fishermen? Our captains are happy to step back and let you fish your way! Lunch and fish processing are included.

Full day (8 hours): $600 per person (minimum 2 pax)

Half day (4 hours): $450 per person (minimum 2 pax)

Self-Guided Skiffs on Water at Salmon Falls Resort

Self Guided Fishing

With our self-guided fishing packages, you are the captain for your fishing trip. Take one our boats out and create the trip you’ve always dreamed of with you guiding the way. This package is great for experienced fishermen.

18 ft. Lund skiffs

Full day (8 hours): $300 per person

Half day (4 hours): $225 per person

Rental includes bait, tackle, gear, fuel, processing and lunch

24 ft. Skagit Orcas

Full day (8 hours):

$450 per person (2 pax)

Float Plane Adventure to Misty Fjords

Float Plane Fishing Adventure

Ketchikan has amazing wildlife and guests of Salmon Falls don’t need to go far to enjoy. It’s not uncommon to see a pod of humpback or orca whales right from our restaurant and deck. But there is nothing that compares to seeing these amazing animals up close. Wildlife viewing from the beautiful open water is a memorable experience and a great way to see the island from a different perspective. Venture into the ocean at the helm of your personal Zodiac and follow your guide as you search for whales, seals, eagles, sea lions and bears.

Spend a whole day exploring Alaska and all it has to offer on one of our Float Planes. Land in remote spots and enjoy a one-of-a-kind guided fishing experience. After a scenic chartered flight, arrive on a lake-and-stream system where very few people are privileged to go each year. Enjoy bait fishing for salmon or fly fishing for Alaska trout. You get to choose your own adventure as these guided trips are for both spin or fly fisherman, novice or experienced. Grab a few friends, and then let’s go fishing.

Hiking in Ketchikan at Tongass National Park

E-Bike & Hike

Join your guide for an easy and enjoyable electric bicycle ride on the road to nowhere, the end of Revillagigedo Islands’ paved road system. This road dead ends at the edge of extensive wilderness, where you will then take a guided hike on an enjoyable trail through dense rainforest, along a stream featuring a beautiful waterfall and a late season salmon run. This hike features a wide array of flora and fauna and beautiful beach views from which we often watch seals swimming, salmon jumping and sometimes even get to watch humpback whales feeding near the shoreline or Orcas come by.  The bike ride is just over 10 miles round-trip, and the hike is about 1.25 miles.

Kayak Eco-Tour

Paddle on the protected ocean waterways of Clover Pass, circumnavigating 2 to 3 small islands featuring an immense array of inter-tidal life, a bald eagle nest, resident seals and sea lions and the potential to encounter many types of migratory birds, Sitka deer, Pacific porpoises, humpback whales and Orcas as well. With a maximum of 6 guests to a guide, these kayak tours are very intimate and educational.
